B. Sin's relationship to love
1. Definition - "An intense feeling of deep affection" -Google
2. Origin - God is love (1 Jn 4:8)
3. Effect - Influences behavior
Satan caused Eve to doubt God's love and wisdom through deception so Eve loved the fruit more than God and therefore sinned. Idolatry is elevating creation (self, others, things, etc.) over the Creator (God).
Because God is love and knows the power of love. That is the reason for Jesus. That is why we're biologically wired to receive love via touch ever since birth.

God always love us (even when nobody else does) - Jn 3:16, Gal 2:20, Ro 5:8, 8:38-39
God's always with us (even when nobody else is) - Jos 1:9, Mt 28:20, Ps 46:7-11, De 31:6, Heb 13:5
